Corn, corn & more corn & what's not is soy. We are now tracking out towards Springfield & are currently on Historic Route 66. The land is very flat, & very green. Gordy's not doing a bad job with his commentary. Passed many an RV so guess it's vacation time for many. $3.69 a gallon for petrol....sheesh they have it cheap here. We are in Dwight right now, small but quaint town. Temps getting up there, 90F. Great architecture out here, very Walton-ish. Being quite partial to American architecture I'm loving what I'm seeing here. They have tunnels under the streets here for the kids to safely get about.... Oops wrong turn, he's chucking a uey.....impressive. This is neat :0) it's like time has stood still here, right back to the 60's. The interstate highway is off in the distance but so much better on this here mother road. Huge wind farm turbines out here in the prairie, although we were told this one is small compared to the one in Amarillo, Texas. People say they can sit on their porch & watch their dog run away for 2 days....flat as a tack these plains are. A few jaffas would be noice right about now.....golden opportunity just wasted. I am curious to know how a bus can kneel, seemingly this one does.... Heading into Odell, small town with a big heart where everybody is somebody, right now where I think we get to get off for a wee walk around....
