Arrived in Chicago yesterday afternoon! Wow what a city....great place, definitely a come back to place! OK so maybe not when NATO is next playing....it's true what you see on yank TV....Secret Service blokes everywhere. I believe Julia IS here & for what purpose she is sticking her nose into NATO is anyone's guess, maybe she just wants to get up close & personal with the SS boys! Huge protest here, we got caught in the middle of it last night, little bit hairy! Met up with our fellow sheep at a cocktail do last night, in true Aussie style everyone sat...LOL Following the party we headed off for more of a look see, found the start of Route 66. It was about here we got caught up with the hoards. We stayed at Palmer House, a Hilton hotel which was very very lavish, huge rooms & full of SS boys....I felt safe :0) He'd a bit of a look see at Lake Michigan, wowa what a pond that it. It is a very clean city, beautiful parklands. This place holds much more attraction to me that NYC to be honest. We are on da big white bus,we have 52 of us on this here sheep truck, mostly Aussie. our tour guru calls himself Gordon...guess that'll be Gordy by days end. He reminds me of someone, someone who no longer has a heartbeat.... Look left look right, missing a tennis racquet. Buggar... I forgot the jaffas....Nice slant to the floor :0) Counting nodding heads & we have been on board all of 38 minutes....WTF does Gordy remind me of.... On Wacker Drive....looking at the Trump Dump. There ya go more head nodders....geez gotta add some excitement here. Gotta get off now be back later
