Chasing that white line again heading down to Branson after our lunch stop at Cracker Barrel, not quite what I thought, big country store with a restaurant attached, real neat country-fied wares, Moth bought ice cream bet that's no surprise! We didn't lunch in Cracker Barrel preferring to check out the 1950's diner across the road, place called "5 & Diner"....complete with an unexpected & clearly unscheduled floor show starring our waitress who was a cross between Laverne & Lucy. We & everyone dining were treated to her animated life story as she bounced around said diner. I'm guessing she was real ditzy or taking happy pills either way made us laugh....a lot. Maybe not so ditzy....apparently everyone who did eat there tipped handsomely. She had the look down pat, kudos to her. We are dining at Johnny B-Good tonight in Branson where they have a Rock n Roll 'Legends in Concert' show in store for us. I believe the remainder of the afternoon is 'at our leisure' once we arrive in Branson, well check the place out. Branson is suppose to be now what Vegas was years ago with many of the top shows/artists now preferring to place there. We'll be overnighting in Branson Landing, a lively place we are told. Might be a bit tough on some. Almost in Joplin.....eeeeeek just spied a billboard for Joplin's cattle receiving yard. Now if ol' blue eyes takes that exit I'll be getting really to do a runner.
