Afternoon spent in Claremore, Oklahoma where I learnt that there are only 2 'A's in Oklahoma! So what do I know I'm Aussie.... Lunch today was at Arby's, home to what is the largest size cup of anything I have ever seen...pics up later...that was a seriously big sucker...I guess Arby's was, a step up from Wallyworld aka Walmart. Personally I think Wallyworld sounds so much better. Arby's is a fast food spin on KFC but they did have one healthy choice so one of us ate semi well. Did a runner across the street NYC style but looked right then left......bad bad move, just remotely avoided becoming road kill, poor bloke driving, mind you I rightly was given a verbal serve. ooooops! Following lunch we spent an hour at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum...I was NOT the only one on the bus that knew who the hell he was.....again WTF do I know I'm only an Aussie....got myself educated on Will though & kinda glad I did, he was some icon here, almost an institution who died way too young in a plane accident. Will was part (small part) Cherokee Indian & became a famed humorist & philosopher. Didn't do too well in the movie business until talking pictures came about when he shot to stardom. He was a expert horseman & the museum housed many of his saddles that were simply stunning. At one time his name was thrown into the hat for a run for US Presidency which he declined. 'I never met a man I didnt like'.....Smart dude! So now we are back chasing those lil' white lines on the mother road heading towards Tulsa. Just had a quick stop off at Catoosa Blue Whale watering hole....no Kris not of THAT variety although would be nice right now. It is a watering hole by the road which houses a huge blue whale with a sign up saying no swimming...go figure! Hoo Roo
